Product Care We recommend periodically cleaning the surface of your teak to remove environmental deposits that could promote mildew growth. Avoid spraying the teak with a high pressure hose, as high pressure can erode the surface of the timber. Next, scrub the wet furniture using a soft bristle brush and a solution of 2/3 cup laundry detergent and 1/4 cup bleach in 1 gallon of warm water. When finished, rinse the entire piece with more fresh water to remove any remaining cleaning solution. To clean your woven furniture, rinse the frame with fresh water using a 25?? Green Nozzle Tip for gentle lifting and cleaning. Be careful to avoid any teak details on the furniture as the high pressure can erode the surface of the timber. Optionally, you may wash the woven material with mild detergent and warm water using a soft brush. After washing, rinse with fresh water until there are no soap bubbles remaining. Allow the furniture to air-dry. If using a specialty outdoor furniture cleaner, avoid using a foaming product, as foam cleaners can leave residue in the gaps of the weaving and later attract dirt.

A classically coastal fusion of texture, the Helsing lounge chair includes lush neutral cushions cradled within an earthy wicker frame. Durable construction meets gorgeous design with this outdoor seating made to withstand the elements for years to come. The comfort seat cushions contain a 1.8-density antimicrobial foam to keep our cushions from developing mold or mildew. Each cushion is wrapped in a 2oz dacron fiber wrap to provide additional comfort. Our seat cushions as well as back and throw pillow are sonic seals on the edges and bagged in a water-resistant ticking to keep moisture out. Combined with the water-resistant properties found in our outdoor performance fabric offering, the Coastal Living outdoor cushions will perform great in the rain or with a wet swimsuit. This ultimately provides indoor living room comfort for your outdoor living space.

Your wood furniture is finished with a final layer of protection that adds to the appearance while also guarding against minor scratches and nicks. Simple, regular care will help this finish protect and beautify your furniture for a long time. Dust the surface of your wood furniture frequently with a clean, lint-free cloth or feather duster. This will guard against layers of dust accumulating and scratching your furniture. Avoid using water to clean wood furniture. When necessary clean spots with a clean rag dipped into a solution of mild soap and clean water, wipe with clean damp rag to remove residual soap and then dry with a soft cloth. Keep your wood furniture away from direct sunlight whenever possible to avoid fading. Try to place furniture away from radiators, heating ducts and air conditioning vents. Do not use rubber mats or plastics directly on your wood furniture. Use felt cloth or a soft runner under heavier accent pieces and lamps to avoid spots and depressions in the wood. When writing on any wood surface use a protective pad or desk blotter.
